Tuesday

today did not go according to plan. Missed my morning workout because i slept in late and had to run errands all morning.

went for my five mile run at 4pm and was afraid I would get rained on at any minute. got it done in an hour 5 minutes. ate well today.

nothing much else to report maybe tomorrow I will have something interesting to post.

I am making a chocolate chip banana bread on thursday will post some pictures and a recipe.

Monday

9:30 am

Got in my morning workout. 30 minutes on the elliptical for a warmup followed by 30 minutes strength training.

I used 5 pound weights and did 5 sets 12 reps of each exercise. burned 460 cals.

now off to breakfast. I made some TVP(textured vegetable protein) patties and baked some dinner rolls for a sandwich.YUM

later on today 5 mile run.

10:26pm

did my 5 mile run. my nike Plus is slowing down again coz it said i ran 5 in 1hr 15 minutes. I think i actually ran more than that. my last 5 mile run was 61 minutes and i need to maintain that.

I listened to a podcast while running, i feel like that keeps my mind off the run more than music does. the plan for tomorrow is to do an exercise video in the morning and a run later on. My calories here a bit low.

only ate about 1300 calories and a burned over 1100 cals. I had a major deficit which isn’t the best for building muscles. but I really have no food at home and I need what i have left to hold for the entire week.(poor college student here)

I need more people to follow! Reblog or like if you’re a fitness or weight loss blog, or a vegan/vegetarian recipe/lifestyle blog, I want to follow as many of you as I can :)

Weekly Workout Schedule

I have been slacking a bit on exercise and Gym time. even though the good news is that I run everyday, I need to include some strength training in my workouts. 

Maybe if I make a weekly schedule, I can improve it. This will be my test week. I want to be in the 170’s by thursday. which means losing at least 2 pounds in the next 5 days. Do-able????

Sunday: 4 miles walk.

Monday: morning 30 mins Elliptical plus 30 minutes strength

             Evening: 5 mile run outside

Tuesday: morning work out DVD

              Evening 5 mile run outside

Wednesday: morning 30 minute elliptical plus 30 minute strength (might add another 30 minute elliptical depending on evening plan)

                   Evening: 5 mile run

Thursday: morning: 5 mile run or 3 mile walk

                eveing: night off for drinks with Friends

Friday: morning 30 min Elliptical plus 30 minutes strength training

            Evening: 3 mile walk

Saturday: 3 mile walk

Sunday: 5 mile morning run.

I promise to try my best to keep this schedule and update each day on how it goes

20 days of weight loss (Day 6)

to day was a good day/ bad day.

I ran 7 miles today. 4 in the morning then i went to lunch with a friend to get some mexican and it was downhill from there.

my lunch, which I though would be healthy because it was vegetarian ended up being about 500 calories. and I only got  was a stuffed chillie with cheese on a plate of black beans. fucking hell.

then of course its a mexican restaurant so they bombard you with chips and salsa and guacamole, that in itself was about 500 calories. What???????

if that wasn’t enough, I got another 500 calories worth of margaritas and shots. . so lets just say I ate a whole days worth of food at lunch. well not really coz alchohol is empty calories. I was so pissed at myself after i put everything in on MFP that I made mysef go for a second run and no dinner tonight just water.

I did 3 more miles after i got back from lunch and shut down the kitchen. and you know what even fucking worse??? i’m gonna be back at it tomorrow coz I have to go out with some more friends for drinks.

the alcohol is definitely a must so i have to make smarter choices with my food.

Plus I plan on hitting the gym for a good 2 hrs before i go out. maybe even 3. fucking pray for me.
